KingKira’s View: What a pleasant surprise to see another update this week, I appreciate One & Murata for giving us the 2nd part of CH134. We picked up from Tatsumaki annihilating Orochi’s roots and severely damaging Psyrochi, Tats coughs blood as a result of overusing her powers which in turn affects her bind on Psyrochi & her psychic barrier protecting the New Fubuki group, It makes sense considering she has had to concentrate on rescuing the S-class heroes in the MA base while fending off an earth-splitting attack, however, I do have an issue with the fact that we are finding out her weakness at such a convenient time. Unfortunately, Psyrochi uses this opportunity to transform into an Octopus-like creature, spews out a smokescreen, and proceeds to fly away as an organic-mechanical fighter jet. I get that Orochi’s whole thing is evolution and adaptation but I wasn’t expecting a fighter jet, I would have preferred a flying dragon or something but that’s by the way. Psyrochi flies off and uses the clone diversion trick that Tats used in CH133.

Tatsumaki responds by creating a massive double-layered barrier spanning the distance of at least a city, despite her coughing up blood Tats is still using this much output, I respect the dedication but I wonder how far she can push herself before it gets really bad for her. Tats goes on to elaborate on how this barrier is different from the conventional barrier and that it is resistant to the trick Psyrochi used against her in CH128. The barrier contains Psyrochi and destroys her rock diversions, as Psyrochi skids along the barrier she shoots a Tats clone (falling for the same trick again!!!) exposing her location to Tats (still inside the smokescreen), at that moment Psyrochi is attacked by a volley of beams surprising both parties, Drive Knight emerges as the one responsible in what I’m guessing to be a promoted Flying Chariot mode because it looks bigger than the Flying chariot we saw in CH118, We also see how Nyan is immobile in DK’s restraining device “Checkmate” which is pretty cool. The chapter ends with DK pursuing Psyrochi to add her to his collection. I’m excited to see what my boy Drive Knight has in store for us next chapter, I feel like DK’s arrival made this update worthwhile.   

KingKira’s character of the week: Drive Knight. We might be in for the next installment of Drive Knight season since CH117-119. The mysterious Drive Knight appears once again to steal the show, I love it and I’m here for it. Shoutout to Tatsumaki for once again getting the better of Psyrochi.      

KingKira’s best scene: Drive Knight’s smooth entrance is the easy choice for me, it was unexpected and epic. 

KingKira’s best panel: I have to give it to the spread showing the size & scale of Tatsumaki’s double-layered barrier. Murata’s attention to detail in this spread is awesome, we get to see details like the sun setting and lights from other cities, Great work sensei.

Judgment: I didn’t like the organic fighter jet and Tats coughing blood from overusing her powers but Drive Knight’s appearance gave the update a much-needed rating boost, since I did a review for the 1st part of the chapter I’ll give 2 ratings this time around. (CH134.2) 7/10 & (FULL CH134) 7.5/10  

KingKira’s View: It’s great to see One & Murata drop a new chapter after the redraws and volume release work. The chapter resumes from the clash between Psyrochi, Tatsumaki, and ten-second mode Genos. Psyrochi fires a giant beam directly at Tats while Genos is dealing with beams from the dragon heads, despite this, Genos is still able to protect Tats by unleashing his True spiral incineration canon to deflect Psyrochi’s attack. To Psykos’ surprise Genos’ canon is actually able to hold back Psyrochi’s beam, giving Tats enough time to pull the S class heroes from the MA base (let’s keep an eye on the Atomic x Puri situation), Genos’ 10-second mode is exhausted after this. Psyrochi replies with another beam but now that Tatsumaki is fully concentrated on the battle at hand, she easily deflects it and proceeds to bind & twist her opponent in a rather suggestive pose, the Hero association observes as Tats’ attack twists the entire Z-city.

Psyrochi (mostly Orochi) suffers anguish as fountains of blood spurt out from Orochi’s roots. Over at the surface Atomic reunites with Bushidrill and Okamaitachi but notices Iaian is missing, we got another Child emperor x Zombieman moment unfortunately it doesn’t end well as ZM can’t respond and Pig god had to save a distracted CE from falling debris, Darkshine and Amai are still looking bad from their previous fights. Saitama, Flashy, and Manako also feel the impact of the attack underground, while King’s divine luck allows the tremors to favor him & Tareo as they make their way to safety. We get back above the base to see fountains of blood and what looks like Orochi separating from Psykos (Could it be!!!), the chapter ends with Tatsumaki preparing to finish her opponent off. Good stuff, I’m hoping Orochi isn’t dead yet and something big might happen next. 

KingKira’s character of the week: I have to give it to Tatsumaki despite a good performance from Best boy Genos. She rescued several S class heroes to the surface, made light work of Psyrochi, and produced enough output to twist the entire Z-city, she also had a nice moment with Genos.

KingKira’s best scene: I liked the scenes with the beam struggle between Psyrochi & Genos, specifically when Genos swooped in and did the True Spiral Incineration Cannon.

Judgment: Pretty good chapter, we got cool action scenes and feats, good comedy, Genos put in work, Tatsumaki put in work, and Puri put in work. 8.5/10
