KingKira’s View: A very eventful and memorable chapter from One and Murata, this chapter had it all, fanservice, action, a big revelation, comedy and did I mention fanservice. We started the chapter with Psykos and Tatsumaki’s battle as Tatsumaki continued to dominate by pulling Psykos through a couple of floors, Psykos retaliates by pulling Tatsumaki down as well setting both espers on a collision course. We briefly cut to Saitama, Flashy & Toilet monster riding, only for them to witness Psykos fly through, she meets Tatsumaki at what I assume is the location Saitama and Orochi fought and the two have an epic clash. Mr. King encounters and saves Tareo as he inadvertently discovered a ghost monster similar to his feat in chapter 109.
The ghost monster runs away from King only to get instantly absorbed by Orochi’s heart element, that’s right Orochi is back!!! Orochi absorbs several fodder monsters to regenerate and decides to head towards Psykos & Tatsumaki, we then cut back to the esper battle with Psykos firing beams from her eyes and Tats easily blocking them, despite Psykos drinking her potion she is still no match for Tats as she is overwhelmed and forced to reveal Intel on the Monster Association. King & Tareo continue trying to find a way out of the base but I’m more concerned that Orochi’s heart element might be lurking behind them. After Psykos squeals, Tats talks down to Amai mask who is still having serious trouble dealing with Fuhrer Ugly, Psykos tries to scheme a getaway while Tats interacts with Amai, at the same time Orochi appears and fires several blasts at Tats freeing Psykos in the process, Tats blocked the attack but appeared to sustain minimal damage, Orochi doesn’t stop as several Orochi snake heads fired more blasts at Tats from multiple directions. The chapter ends with Psykos attempting to merge with Orochi and Saitama & co evading Orochi’s slimy heart element. I’m very excited to see what the Psykos and Orochi merge would look like.
RIP to all the fodder monsters that lost their lives in the chapter.
KingKira’s character of the week: The monster king made a grand return so I have to give it to Orochi this week. He survived Saitama’s normal punch, absorbed several fodder monsters and fired several blasts at Tatsumaki. I have to give a Shoutout to Psykos, she looked amazing throughout the chapter.
KingKira’s best scene: Some great scenes this week but I’ll go with Orochi blasting Tatsumaki with his snake heads, I was glad to see Tats sustain some damage from that attack. I appreciate the King and Tareo scene too, great stuff.
KingKira’s best panel: Psykos Psykos Psykos, the panel where she gets caught up in Tats psychic bind was beautiful and it should be clear by now that Psykos has become my favorite female character in the series (Based on appearance alone).
Judgment: Quality chapter with a decent length, I thoroughly enjoyed it. We got some cool action, Our boy King came through, Monster King Orochi returned and it sets up yet another epic battle in this arc and of course the impeccable fanservice with the Psykos panels, I’m a happy man after reading this chapter 9/10.
